Despite John Cena's return, WWE Raw ratings drop a little.

On Thursday night's "WWE Raw" show, John Cena returned to mark his 20th anniversary.

Even though not the entire large crowd from the previous week watched the legend return, the programme once again received outstanding ratings.

data from Wrestlenomics tells, "Raw" had an average audience of 1,951,000 watchers on June 27. This represents a 2 percent decline in viewers.

With an average watching audience of 700,000 (0.54 P18-49), down 2 percent from last Monday, the key demographic saw a similar decline from the previous week.

The show last week had its biggest audience numbers since the weeks following WrestleMania 38 in April, so those figures are still on the upper side.

With a 0.56 rating in the second hour, "Raw" achieved its best demographic rating of the evening. Hour three finished third with a 0.50, while hour one came in second with a 0.55.

Around 10 PM ET, Vince McMahon made an appearance to introduce Cena. Cena then did a promo in which he thanked and credited the fans for making this about "us," rather than about him.
